Surgana State was a princely state of the Bombay Presidency during the era of the British Raj. It was the only state belonging to the Nasik Agency. Its capital was Surgana in Nashik District (52 Kms from Nashik)of present-day Maharashtra. Surgana State's last ruler signed the accession to join the Indian Union in March 1948. Area of state was 364 Sq. Miles comprising of  61 villages  and the population of state was 15235 in 1931.Privy purse of state at the time of accession on 1 March1948  was Rs.30,000.
