Danta state formerly Mahi Kanta Agency, Bombay, later Western Rajputana Agency : now in Gujarat State , area of state was 898.73 Sq. Km. comprising of  78 villages and  Population of  the state was 26,172 in 1931.Privy purse of  the state at the time of accession in to independent India  on 6 November 1948  was Rs 92,000.
