Chhuikhadan princely state fiscal court fee/revenue stamp

Chhuikhadan  also known as Kondka was a small Princely state in British period with an area of  396 Sq. Km. or 153 Sq.Miles comprising of 120 villages in total and the population was 13281 in 1870 and 32731 in 1941. Later on it was a part of Chhatisgarh State Agency. The capital of the state was Chhuikhadan . The date of accession in to Union of India was 1 Feb 1948.

               The chiefs of Chhuikhadan were originally under the Bhonsales of Nagpur . Its first chief was Mahant Roop Das in 1750 . After the defeat of Marathas , British Government recognized them as feudatory chiefs in 1865 conferring the title and sanad to Mahant Laxman Das . The last ruler at the time of its accession in to India was Mahant  Ritu  Purna  Kishore Das
