BANTVA  BARA  MAJMU                                                            (Non Salute State)

Bantva bara Majmu was formerly a part of Sorath Prant  which later on merged in Saurashtra state . At present it is in the Gujrat state . The area of the state was about 146 Sq. Km. comprises of 12 villages .The population of the state in 1921 was only 6820.

        Historically Bantva was a jurisdictional taluka founded in 1733 after the division of the Bantava district by Khan Shri Sherzamankhanji with his elder brother , who became the first ruler of  Manvadar. Bantava Bara Majmu comprised of Bantva Bara majmu and Bantva chhota Majmu . Earlier Bantva and Limbuda  was known as  Sherbulandkhanji ’s Estate .
