LOCATION IN GUJRAT
Bagasra state is formerly Western Kathiwar Agency,merged into
Saurashtra , now in Gujarat State , area of state was 25 Sq. Miles (17 villages
), and the population of the state was 10,153 in 1931. It is located 15
Miles from kunkavav on the Bhavnagar-Gondal-Junagarh –Porbandar railway . It is
near Gir famous for its lion wild life
sanctuary, which is in the center of the Kathiawar peninsula. It was
conquered Vala Mancha Bhaiya of Deogam Devla .It was the seat of an Agency
thana ruled by the Vala Kathis at the time of Independence of India.
